The Applicaton fee is different for candidates belonging to different Category. For the General, OBC and EWS application fee for IBPS Clerk Exam 2024 is ₹851 and for candidate belonging to SC, ST,PwBD, Ex-Serviceman and DESM are required to pay only ₹175 as application fee.

IBPS Clerk Recruitment 2024 Educational Qualification

A Degree (Graduation) in any discipline from a University recognised by the Govt. Of India or any equivalent qualification recognized by the Central Government. Candidates must possess a valid Mark-sheet/Degree Certificate on the day of registration and indicate the percentage of marks obtained in Graduation while registering online.

Computer Literacy: Operating and working knowledge in computer systems is mandatory. Candidates should have a Certificate/Diploma/Degree in computer operations/language or should have studied Computer/Information Technology as a subject in High School/College/Institute.

The Computer Based Examination will be conducted in two tiers:

Preliminary Examination (Objective Test)

  • Tests: English Language, Numerical Ability, Reasoning Ability
  • Total Questions: 100
  • Total Marks: 100
  • Penalty for Wrong Answers: Each incorrect answer will result in a deduction of one-fourth OR 0.25 marks from the total marks assigned to that question. No penalty will be applied for unanswered questions.
  • Duration: 60 minutes (20 minutes per test)
  • Medium: English for English Language test, * (unspecified) for others
  • Qualification: Must secure cut-off marks in each test as decided by IBPS to be shortlisted for the Main examination

Main Examination (Objective Test)

IBPS Clerk 2024 Salary Structure

An IBPS Clerk's basic salary ranges from Rs 19,900 to Rs 47,920 per month. The basic pay of Rs 19,900 constitutes the core of the IBPS Clerk salary, while the remainder includes allowances such as dearness allowance, house rent allowance, medical allowance, and transport allowance. Initially, those joining can expect a cash in hand amount of Rs 29,453.

  • Candidates applying for CRP Clerks XIV must complete their applications online via the IBPS website, www.ibps.in. No other mode of application will be accepted.
  • Application Fees/ Intimation Charges:
    • SC/ST/PwBD/ESM/DESM candidates: Rs. 175/- (inclusive of GST)
    • All others: Rs. 850/- (inclusive of GST)
    • Candidates must bear the bank transaction charges for online payment.
  • Pre-Requisites for Applying Online:
    • Refer to Annexure III for details on required documents and specifications.
  • Procedure for Applying Online:
    • Visit the IBPS website, click on "CRP Clerks", and then "CLICK HERE TO APPLY ONLINE FOR CRP- Clerks (CRP-Clerks-XIV)".
    • Register by entering basic information to receive a provisional registration number and password via email and SMS.
    • Fill out the online application form, upload required documents (photograph, signature, etc.), and verify details using the "SAVE AND NEXT" feature.
    • Final submission is required after verifying all details. Changes are not allowed after submission.
  • Mode of Payment:
    • Payment of fees/intimation charges is only through online mode.

IBPS Clerk Call Letter 2024
  • Downloading Call Letter: Candidates must download their call letter from the official IBPS website (www.ibps.in) using their Registration Number and Password/Date of Birth. No hard copy will be sent by post.
  • Scribe Details: Candidates who opted for a scribe must fill in scribe details while downloading the examination call letter. They must bring both the call letter and the filled-in scribe declaration form to the exam.
  • Communication Intimations: Intimations regarding examination details will be sent via email and SMS to the registered email ID and mobile number. Regularly check the IBPS website and email for updates.
  • Important Notes:
    • The call letter for the Online Preliminary Exam will not be collected at the exam venue but will be authenticated/stamped by the venue staff. Retain it safely.
    • Candidates called for the Main Exam must bring the authenticated Online Preliminary Exam call letter along with the Main Exam call letter and other required documents.
    • Bring one additional photograph (similar to the one pasted on the call letter) to both the Preliminary and Main Exams.
    • Failure to bring the authenticated/stamped call letter and ID proof at the Main Exam will result in candidates being barred from appearing in the examination.
