Age Relaxation : Age relaxation for Navy Civilian Entrance Test INCET 01/2024 allows SC/ST candidates 5 years and OBC candidates 3 years beyond the upper age limit. PwBDs receive 10 years, with extra years for OBC (13 years) and SC/ST (15 years). Ex-Servicemen get their military service period plus 3 years. Meritorious Sportspersons can avail up to 5 years, and up to 10 years for SC/ST. Departmental candidates with 3 years of continuous service get up to 5 years, or up to 40 years of age (45 years for SC/ST).

Screening of Applications:

  • Indian Navy will not conduct a detailed scrutiny of all online applications. Meeting the basic criteria does not guarantee a call for the computer-based examination.

Scheme of Examination:

hortlisted candidates will take an online computer-based test featuring multiple-choice questions in English and Hindi (except for General English). The exam includes:

How to apply for Indian Navy Civilian Entrance Text (INCET) 01/2024

1. Important Dates

  • Opening of Online Registration Portal: 20 July 2024 at 10:00 hrs
  • Closing of Online Registration Portal: 02 August 2024 at 23:59 hrs

2. Application Process

  • Apply online at www.joinindiannavy.gov.in, under Join Navy > Ways to join > Civilians > INCET-01/2024.
  • Read all guidelines before completing the application form.
  • Ensure eligibility and document readiness, and do not send copies of the application form or documents to the office.
  • Keep a printout of the Application Form and Admit Card. Bring the Admit Card to the exam venue. Errors in the form cannot be corrected.

3. Documents Required

  • Scanned copies of the following documents:
    • Photograph (20Kb-50Kb) with a light background
    • Signature (10Kb-20Kb) on white paper with black ink
    • Caste/EWS Certificate (50-200KB), if applicable
    • Date of Birth Proof (Birth Certificate/Matriculation/SSC)
    • Highest Education Qualification Proof (50-200KB)
    • Ex-Servicemen Certificate (50-200KB), if applicable
