Syllabus For Written Examination

Group I : - General English comprising of English Comprehension, English Grammar and English word power (20 Marks) as well as English Essay writing (10 marks)

Group II : Objective General Knowledge (30 Marks).

Group III : Numerical Ability and Reasoning Test including Mathematical test of Matric Standard (30 Marks)

Computer Skill Test:

1. Computer Skill Test shall be qualifying in nature. The merit list of the candidates for the purpose of appointment may be prepared on the basis of a written test to be followed by a test for working on computers and knowledge of typing on computers and Viva-voce test.

2. Only the candidates getting the qualifying marks in the written test shall be called for VivaVoce test and test for working on computers and knowledge of typing on computers.

3. The candidates will be asked to type a written passage of 100 words @ 20 words per minute and to save the same on computer at the particular location.

Important Instruction for Jharkhand High Court Assistant 2024

Provide a recent scanned photograph of the applicant, ensuring it is in color and within the size range of 10kb to 50kb, with the accepted formats being JPG or JPEG.
Include a scanned copy of the Matriculation Certificate as proof of the date of birth, or alternatively, provide the Matriculation Mark sheet/Grade Sheet if the date of birth is not explicitly mentioned on the certificate.
Submit a scanned copy of the Provisional/Original Certificate of Graduation or an equivalent degree certificate from a recognized university.
Furnish a scanned copy of the certificate of Diploma in Computer Application (DCA) with a duration of at least six months from a recognized institute.
Upload a scanned copy of the residential certificate, adhering to the prescribed format as specified in the relevant government letters dated 02.06.2016 (Sub-Divisional Officer level) or 19.07.2019 (Circle Officer level), depending on the issue date.
Attach a scanned copy of the caste certificate issued by the District Magistrate/Deputy Commissioner/Sub-Divisional Officer, conforming to the prescribed format as per State Government norms, issued either before 25.02.2019 (Sub-Divisional Officer level) or on 25.02.2019 and onwards (Circle Officer level).
Provide a scanned copy of the certificate related to Economically Weaker Section (EWS) in the prescribed form, adhering to State Government norms.
Include a scanned copy of the disability certificate in the prescribed format, as per the prevailing norms of the State Government.
Submit a scanned copy of the certificate indicating no objection from the employer if the candidate is currently serving in any Government institution or undertaking.
